There is only one church in the Cancun Hotel Zone.  You can find several others in El Centro.  Most all are of Catholic denomination as this is the dominant denomination of the country.  The one in the hotel zone is also Catholic.

This church is located at kilometer 3.5 in the hotel zone.  It is a nice church, mostly open air and quite beautiful.

English speaking services are at 9am only on Sunday mornings. It will take you about 1/2 hour to get there by bus, or about 15 minutes by cab.  Spanish service is at 10:15am Sunday morning.

The service lasts right about 1 hour.  I am a non-denominational Christian, yet I have still found the services to be enjoyable and the speakers have been pretty good.  Its a nice experience if you are used to church on Sunday mornings.  The open air effect with the beautiful sunshine is pretty cool.  It may not be what you are used to if you are not Catholic.  But the way I look at it is that we are all brothers and sisters in Christ as believers.  So who cares about the denomination for a day?!  Tim Miller
